The town of Blackduck is located 25 miles north of Bemidji Minnesota. This little town is considered the hub to the great outdoors of northern part of Minnesota. Blackduck is next to the northwest edge of the Chippewa National Forest and in Blackduck State Forest. This town is near 600 lakes, 1.5 million acres of public forest land, 100's of miles of snowmobile trails, cross country trails.
The city of Blackduck has a population of 815 people. The town has all the amenities for visitors who plan on staying for a day or want to relocate. This area is considered an outdoorsman's paradise with all of the natural resources there is to offer. If you want to visit the Northwood's of Minnesota but not be too far from civilization this is the place to look at.
